Bonnie is an award winning pastel artist  who has studied under the guidance of many world renowned master pastellists. Her works have been exhibited in juried artist shows throughout central and northern New Jersey as well as in international art shows.  

 

Bonnie is a founding and Distinguished Pastelist level member of the Pastel Society of New Jersey and a juried associate member of the Pastel Society of America and the Catharine Lorrilard Wolfe Art Club. She has been commissioned for portraits of animals and people.  Much of her work is representational with the goal of reflecting a realistic image while investigating the interplay of color, light and negative space. Recent works underscore a transition towards abstract expressionism in her acrylic paintings which enables greater freedom of inner self expression
